Bags after hotel checkout
Plan around collection, not just drop-off
After checkout, ask your accommodation whether it can keep bags and what access rules apply. If using MIXMAGO, compare the storage window with your return to KK Plaza. An evening flight does not extend the hub’s hours. Allow time for bag collection and your own onward journey.
KK Plaza hub
Lot 1.17G, First Floor, KK Plaza, Jalan Lapan Belas, 88000 Kota Kinabalu, Sabah Published hub hours: daily 9am–8pm, Malaysia time (UTC+8). Confirm opening and available space before travelling. Overnight storage does not include overnight collection.
Storage rates
Per item: RM15 for 1–4 hours, RM20 for 5–12 hours, RM25 for 13–24 hours. For four or more items stored 13–24 hours, RM22 per item. After 24 hours, add RM20 per item per 24 hours, prorated for extra time and rounded to the nearest sen. Maximum standard stay: seven days.
Island trips and early departures
Keep passports, medication, valuables and essentials with you. Check your boat or tour return time directly with its operator. Do not book a collection time you cannot meet. If you need collection outside published hours, ask about another arrangement before booking; it is not automatically available.
Local luggage delivery
Local luggage pickup to KK Plaza and return delivery from the hub are arranged manually. Send the full address, date, time, bag count, sizes and total weight. MIXMAGO checks coverage, driving route, driver availability and safe loading before confirming. The Car/MPV basis is RM12 for the first 3 km plus RM1.80/km; extra distance rounds up to 100 metres. Maximum total luggage weight is 30 kg, subject to dimensions and safe loading. Each direction is a separate trip; storage is charged separately. This luggage service does not carry passengers.
